Perfect hotel in a perfect Burgundy town. Make an effort to visit
This tiny Hotel is enormous on charm. My husband's and I stayed here for the weekend, a treat to ourselves, as this is expensive and exclusive. I believe there are about 12 rooms in total. If you're looking for an authentic provincial Town experience, this is the place to stay. The rooms are palatial, we had a small balcony, the bathroom exquisite. It was a bit disappointing that we could not procure reservations to the restaurant as we had spent a small fortune on the hotel and perhaps expected a bit of effort on behalf of the staff to accommodate us. Such a small detail would have made such a difference. Also, this is not quite a five-star establishment. Perhaps that sounds nitpicky, as I just extolled the virtues of this lovely place. There was something missing in the service department. Having stayed at some of the world's most Exquisite hotels, this did leave something to be considered. Still, if the price tag is not prohibitive and you are local, highly recommended.

Cant beat the location in Beaune. Very welcoming hotel, English-speaker friendly. Spacious and comfortable rooms. Dont miss the restaurant- highlight of our time in Beaune with an amazing wine list. Breakfast buffet is pricey but worth it. Heard some complaints from guests with rooms above the restaurant regarding noise, but I did not think it noisy at all.
